as i type this post, im feeling a little lame for not having something more than just some "words of wisdom." i have been feeling overwhelmed with my life lately due to letting schoolwork pile up and babysitting (my second job). i have not given myself (or my boyfriend) much time to relax and enjoy the little things in life. but on a happier note, my boyfriend, who i will refer to as T,  and i will be taking a week to ourselves and driving up to his grandmother's mountain house in banner elk, nc! let's just say...I. CAN'T. WAIT!

last night #10 Clemson played #4 Florida State at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida. while i was not able to attend the game i sent my boyfriend and his best friend to cheer the Seminoles on for me. im not going to lie, by the second half i was having anxiety attacks; i had accepted that we just might not pull this game off. i changed the channel so i did not have to see FSU be defeated. when my heart rate returned to normal, i switch the channel back just in time to see the Seminoles pull off a victory and win the game! national championship contenders? i hope so!



happy birthday to me

today i am a quarter-century old, or 25 to be exact. i have not given this birthday much thought as i have other birthdays in the past. i think this is due to my reluctance to growing older, but with age comes wisdom. so i am going to suck it up and enjoy my day.

i haven't posted in a while so i have decided to leave a few words of wisdom here on the blog. i found these "little sayings" on this pintrest board. sometimes i get so caught up with the world around me that i forget to stop and think about what matters in life. i need to remember that life isn't always perfect and i have to roll with the punches God sends my way...and remeber to always find the good in everyday.

i have been m.i.a. since last thursday's post due to school. my classes began last week, so it was my last couple days of freedom to enjoy myself and friends. needless to say it's time to crack down and open the books. i will try to continue posting, however it might get pretty boring; i try to limit my "going out" to just saturdays. see you in december when the festivities will resume again!
