typical wednesday

lets have a wine night!...and feed all the boys a delicious hot dinner! it turned out great; we cooked Erin's mouth-watering rice-krispy "fried" chicken. i'm not going to lie, i really just wanted to taste her delicious recipe again {she made it for me a couple of weeks ago} and believe me i'm still craving some of that chicken. i really wish i had gotten a picture to post here but it was devoured by all the hungry boys before i had a chance. ill post the recipe next time we make it...

by the end of the night, a dance video {which will remain hidden} and three bottles of wine later. my boyfriend scooped me up and took me home. the night was a success.

friday i was lucky enough to babysit this little cutie. after all the rain we have received lately we were blessed with a beautiful sunny morning. louise loves the pool so i decided to take her swimming for a couple of hours. lucky for us, we ended up having the pool to ourselves. louise is such a precious little girl and i cannot wait for our next pool date. :)

it happens, like once

i found this gem while searching on the internet. it cracked me up and then i got to thinking…it really does happen “like once or twice or three times in every life” and it made me reminisce about the time my childhood best friend and i gave each other our own haircuts. needless to say, it only happened once. enjoy.

 my heart is pounding. i don't know why something as simple as "creating the first post" gives me anxiety. maybe it is because i am putting myself out there where i can be attacked by negativity, but i have to do it. i have been planning to start a blog for a while. i think that it will be euphoric for me to document my journey through life. so here it goes...

i am a 24 (almost 25) year old girl living life as fully as i can. my life lately has slowly started to resemble the fairy tale that i dream about in my head. i have a great family who accepts the decisions i make and a wonderful boyfriend who i hope will take the plunge and ask for my hand in marriage, sooner than later :) also, i'm obsessed with my dog Dooley; i'm convinced she was a person in another life. i invite you to follow me on my journey of life, from learning to live and love...this is me "searching for wisdom."
